A few of my favorites from Anne and Tom’s bridal portraits in Meridian Hill Park and their wedding at Josephine Butler Parks Center.   It was such a gift for me to witness how deep their love is for their family and friends.  Lula Mae Special Events did a gorgeous job with the space and Eat & Smile Catering put together a really yummy menu, and every person on their team that night was so friendly.  You can view the full gallery here.

James is from England.  Elizabeth is from Minnesota.  I met them through my dear friends Jack & Mara (another fabulous Brit-American couple).  With folks traveling in from across the Atlantic and from the Midwest, E&J pulled out all the stops for an unforgettable spring wedding for their guests last May.  A big thank you to Les Talusan and Becky Harlan for photographing this wedding with me.  Enjoy!

The were married at St. Josephs in the NE.  After the ceremony they hired a street musician to escort everyone down the street for a luncheon at The Monacle, a DC fixture.  After lunch, their guests took a trolley tour to see the monuments.

After portraits near the Capitol Dome on the Senate Side, we headed to the Whittemore House.  E&J built a lot of time in to their schedule to relax before the reception- which was great for me as the photographer.  Some of my favorite photos of them are from right before the reception where they’re enjoying their first few hours alone as husband and wife.

Lyn Stout and her team at Bond Events did a gorgeous job with the Whittemore House.  Pretty flowers were by  Ultra Violet Florists.  Delicious catering by Windows.  And the amazing tunes that had everyone dancing all night long and then some were performed by the Blue Tips Rhythm Revue

Renee and Ian:  Lovers of music and  culture; Dance machines; Best friends.

I loved photographing every minute of their wedding day, especially the surprise Mariachi band and the amazing DJ set by Sound of Everything.  I put together a playlist of some of my favorite songs the DJ played.  Check it out!

The first wedding I shot outside of DC was in in Vermont last summer at Mount Snow Ski Resort.  Destination weddings are the best!

I think Liz and Adam and their guests would agree.
